Convince Your Super-Sassy Friend to Build an IP
Convince Your Super-Sassy Friend to Build an IP
In this day and age, it's the sassy ones who come out on top. If you've got a friend who can really let loose with the sass, you'd better convince them to start a personal IP right away.
At least they've got one super important trait for an IP - a strong desire to express themselves. They're not afraid to speak up, they can talk the talk, and they know how to get their point across.
Take me for example. I've known since I was a kid that I love talking to myself. Even though I'm not much of a talker in real life and I'm kind of shy and introverted, I've actually got a huge urge to express myself.
But it's a shame that this urge didn't really come out until more than 20 years later, which is now.
There's one thing AI can't do for me, and that's talk for me. It can't let out my emotions or sass about something for me.
I've got to say what I want to say with my own mouth, write down my thoughts with my own hands, and dig deep into my brain to find my real thoughts, ideas, opinions, criticisms, biases, and all those little annoyances about something.
It's like when you want to cuss someone out. Is it more satisfying to do it yourself or to get someone else to do it for you?
My take is, of course, it's way more satisfying to do it yourself.
I can cuss and sass first, and then let AI help me organize and tidy it up, and finally turn it into an article and post it.
But there's no way I'm going to let AI write out how I should sass someone first, and then follow the framework it gives me to sass. That would just make me feel so憋屈.
Of course, it works the other way around. I can sass first, let AI expand on it, then sass some more, and finally let AI put it all together and post it.
This is how I've been feeling since I started using AI recently. I feel like I'm being held back.
Right now, I think that the opinions and words that are mine, I have to say them myself. After that, I can do whatever I want with them.
If an IP doesn't have this strong urge to express themselves, it'll be really hard for that IP to keep going and have long-lasting energy and vitality.
When we talk about sassing or cussing, it's not really about saying super extreme or negative things.
It's just that sassing and cussing are great ways to get someone's urge to express themselves going. And because the emotions are so strong, it's really contagious.
Let me tell you about myself.
When I analyze something objectively and rationally and when I sass about something, there's a huge difference in how fast I can come up with stuff, how much I can produce, and the emotions that come with it.
When I finish analyzing something rationally, I feel really satisfied and proud of myself. I think I've written something really good.
When I finish sassing about something, I feel this sense of relief and satisfaction. It's like I've finally gotten something out of my system.
As long as a person has thoughts in their head, they'll have an urge to express themselves. It's just that some people are brave enough to speak up and some aren't.
Someone asked me how to run an IP public account and what kind of content counts as IP content.
My answer is, just be yourself and write down what you think.
To put it more vividly, write down your opinions, thoughts, and all your inner feelings about anything you're interested in.
You might ask, isn't that too broad? Maybe. So next, you can narrow it down to a certain area.
For example, focus on the workplace, relationships, or side hustles. And these areas can be broken down even further.
But remember, you've got to wake up that urge to express yourself first. You've got to have something to say.
