What Do You Usually Use AI for?
What Do You Usually Use AI for?
Today, I asked this question in a group and also collected everyone's answers on a knowledge-sharing platform.
Let me try to answer it first.
- Use AI for programming and problem-solving.
- Use AI to write blog posts, come up with titles, and find topics.
- Use AI to extract and summarize content.
- Use AI to analyze Gallup Strengths reports.
- Use AI to optimize oral and written language.
- Use AI to create mind maps, images, and web pages.
- Use AI as a search engine.
- Use AI as a teacher.
Let's break it down one by one.
AI Programming
In my work, I mainly use Doubao. When I encounter problems, I just throw them at it. For some simple code, I can directly ask it to write, and then I copy it and make some modifications to use.
Currently, I rarely use AI to directly write work-related code. Instead, I mainly use it to solve problems and get some code that I used to search for.
Many programmers often code by searching online, copying existing code, making some changes, and getting it to work. Now, using AI is even more convenient and time-saving.
In my side hustle, I use AI programming less often. Generally, I use DeepSeek, Doubao, Cursor, and Trae to create some simple tools and web pages, mainly in HTML because it's easy and convenient.
Writing Blog Posts with AI
I have a small blog, and most of the content is written with the help of AI. However, I don't just use AI directly. Instead, I combine it with my knowledge base (ima) and a Doubao agent that stores millions of words of my content.
Based on my existing content library, I choose a question or topic to write about.
For writing blog posts, I recommend using Tencent Yuanbao. It can search for many blog posts, and you can imitate or integrate some content and materials. Its style is also more suitable for blogs.
You can also use AI to come up with titles and summarize golden sentences. If you have time, you can even let AI correct and optimize your articles.
Report Analysis with AI
AI has stronger understanding and analysis abilities than humans. But remember to turn off the internet connection and let it analyze based on the file or content itself.
Let AI analyze it first, and then you can compare and analyze it yourself, making improvements and additions.
Oral and Written Language Optimization
I have an oral optimization agent that helps correct typos, polish the language, and improve the output speed.
Creating Mind Maps, Images, and Web Pages with AI
Currently, I use DeepSeek more often for creating mind maps, images, and web pages.
The key to creating mind maps is the ability to extract content, and DeepSeek is quite good at this. As for creating images, although DeepSeek doesn't support direct image generation, you can ask it to output HTML code and then generate and download the image.
The prompt is as follows: Summarize the above content and create a beautiful mind map, returning it in HTML/CSS format. Provide a download button so that I can directly download the image, and make sure the button is outside the image area. Note: Use DeepSeek V3, which means turning off R1. Its coding and aesthetic abilities will be much better, and it won't be so wordy.
Using AI as a Search Engine
This should be a common and daily thing.
However, the content收录 by AI is still quite limited, and many platforms' content is not included.
I believe there will be more content in the future. Pay more attention to content output, AI search, and AI-based SEO.
Using AI as a Teacher
Most of the above is using AI as an employee or assistant to help you solve problems, improve efficiency, and get things done.
Using AI as a teacher is for learning. You can let AI fill in the gaps in your knowledge, perspective, and thinking. You can let AI ask you questions or set an AI role first.
These are the things I use AI for most often in my daily life. Other things, such as AI painting, video creation, music production, and creating digital humans, I use less often.
So, what do you usually use AI for? In what scenarios? Is it useful? What problems have you encountered and how did you solve them? Do you think there are any deficiencies or difficulties in using AI now? Or do you have any needs that AI hasn't met?
